Client Spotlight: Non-profit photography for Dream on 3

Every once in a while, a photography project comes along that reminds me exactly why I do what I do. My time photographing for Dream On 3, a nonprofit that grants sports dreams to children with life-altering conditions, has been one of those experiences.

Based in Colorado, Dream On 3 creates unforgettable moments for kids who have faced unimaginable challenges. Children living with conditions such as cancer, Down syndrome, and other disabilities. Their mission is simple but powerful: to bring joy, hope, and inspiration through once-in-a-lifetime sports experiences.

Recently, I had the privilege of documenting a Dream Experience weekend for 8-year-old Benny, who has been bravely fighting leukemia for the past two years. Benny’s strength, smile, and energy are absolutely contagious. Despite the difficult road he’s been on, he radiates pure excitement and light.

For his Dream, Benny and his family spent an incredible weekend in Windsor, Colorado, as VIP guests at the Roar of the Rockies F1 Powerboat Races. From the moment they arrived, they were treated like royalty. Benny got to meet the racers, go behind the scenes, ride on a jet ski, make announcements, and even hand out the final trophies. Watching him light up during each moment was nothing short of magical.

After years of hospital visits and treatments, Benny is finally on the path to remission this October. Seeing him experience so much joy and freedom during this weekend was incredibly moving, not just for his family but for everyone involved.

Dream On 3 continues to do incredible work for kids like Benny, helping them create lifelong memories after some of the toughest battles imaginable. I feel so honored to help tell these stories through photography. These images will serve as cherished reminders of resilience, joy, and the power of dreams.
