Going Over the Edge for a Cause: TruBlu Images Captures the Thrill at the Kimpton Claret Hotel
Back in September, TruBlu Images photographed Over the Edge at the Kimpton Claret Hotel. The event brought together brave participants, dedicated volunteers, and an incredible cause, resulting in a staggering $150,000 raised for the Cancer League of Colorado.
Over the Edge for a Cause by TruBlu Images in Denver, Colorado.
From September 4th to 6th, participants stepped to the edge of the 18th floor and rappelled down the side of the Kimpton Claret in the Denver Tech Center. Some were seasoned climbers, others were trying it for the first time, but all were united by a common goal: making a difference.
Over the Edge allows participants to experience something extraordinary while supporting cancer research. To take part, fundraisers collect at least $1,000 in pledges, with every dollar going directly to the Cancer League of Colorado.
What makes this organization truly inspiring is its all-volunteer mission. With no paid staff or offices, every contribution supports research and patient programs across the state. Since 1985, the Cancer League of Colorado has donated more than $16 million in grants to fund lifesaving work, and events like Over the Edge help that number continue to grow.
At TruBlu Images, we are passionate about photographing events that make a difference. We are committed to partnering with nonprofits and causes to share their stories through vibrant, authentic photography. Documenting Over the Edge was a perfect example of our mission in action: capturing moments that celebrate courage, community, and the impact of giving back.
From the first rappel to the final celebration, the event was a powerful reminder of what can happen when people come together for a cause that matters.
